Over 1000 pages of information updated to include version 8.0 of PgSOL. I still Bruce Momjian's 2001 `PostgreSQL: Introdugcion and Concepts` because it is smaller and easier to use, but where old methods no longer work I use this new work.

well worth the money
This is probably not a book for a beginner, but if one has an experience with database or just programming experience and wants to get into Postgres fast - this book delivers. It was very good for me, anyway. Recommended
